Parnashavari or Parṇaśabarī (पर्णशबरी) is one of the several Buddhist deities associated with healing. She is primarily green in colour and is assocated with the Buddha Amoghasiddhi, one of the Five Dynani Buddhas, who is the Lord of the Karma Family. However, according to The Indian Buddhist Iconography by by Benoytosh Bhattachacharyya, yellow Parnashavari is consiered to be an emanation of Buddha Akṣobhya, the Lord of the Vajra Family.

Her statues made during the Pala period (8th to 12th century) have been found in India. The worship of Parnashavari has been spread to the rest of Asia such as Nepal, Tibet, China, Japan and Korea.

Parnashavari, the dakini who dressed in leaves, is  especially invoked for protection against infectious disease and outbreak of epidemics.
