Prayer from the Drikung Kagyu tradition in Tibetan Buddhism

༄༅།། རྗེ་བཙུན་རི་ཁྲོད་ལོ་ཀྱོན་མའི་བསྟོད་པ་ཚིགས་བཅད་མ།།

Verses in Praise of Mother Arya Parnashavari who Eliminates All Diseases

ཆོས་སྐུ་བདེ་བ་ཆེན་པོའི་དཀྱིལ་འཁོར་ནས། 
CHÖ KU DÉ WA CHEN PÖ KYIL KHOR NÉ
Out of the mandala of dharmakaya’s great bliss
 

།ཡམས་ལ་སོགས་པ་ནད་ཀྱིེ་འཇིགས་པ་དང་། 
YAM LA SOK PA NÉ KYI JIK PA DANG
You protect against dangerous diseases like epidemics
 

།དུས་མིན་འཆི་ལས་སྐྱོབ་པར་བྱེད་པ་ཡི། 
Ü MIN CHI LÉ KYOP PAR JÉ PA YI
And against untimely death–
 

།དོན་འགྲུབ་ཕྲིན་ལས་ཡུམ་ལ་ཕྱག་འཚལ་ལོ།
DÖN DRUP TRIN LÉ YUM LA CHAK TSEL LO
I pay homage to you, the mother of wish-fulfilling activities.
 

།པདྨའི་གདན་ལ་གསེར་མདོག་རི་ཁྲོད་མ། 
PEMÉ DEN LA SER DOK RI TRÖ MA
You, golden-colored Parnashavari, sit on a lotus seat,

།རྩ་བའི་ཞལ་སེར་གཡས་གཡོན་སྫོ་དང་དཀར། 
TSA WÉ ZHEL SER YÉ YÖN NGO DANG KAR
Your main face is yellow, the right one blue, and the left one white

།དབུ་སྐྲ་ཐོར་ཚུགས་གཟི་བརྗིད་ལྡན་པ་ཡི། 
U TRA TOR TSUK ZI JI DEN PA YI
Your hair is bound up in a topknot, and you are full of splendor–
 

།དངོས་གྲུབ་ལྷ་མོའི་སྐུ་ལ་ཕྱག་འཚལ་ལོ། །
NGÖ DRUP LHA MÖ KU LA CHAK TSEL LO
I pay homage to the divine body of the goddess granting accomplishments.
 

ཡེ་ཤེས་ཐུགས་རྗེའི་བདག་ཉིད་བཅོམ་ལྡན་འདས། 
YÉ SHÉ TUK JÉ DAK NYI CHOM DEN DÉ
You, Illustrious One, are the embodiment of wisdom and compassion,

།དུས་མཐའི་མེ་དཔུང་ལྟ་བུའི་ཀློང་དཀྱིལ་ན། 
DÜ TÉ MÉ PUNG TA BÜ LONG KYIL NA
You stand in the midst of masses of fire, burning like at the end of time,
 

།ཞལ་གསུམ་ཕྱག་དྲུག་འཇིགས་བྱེད་ཁྲོ་མོའི་ཞལ། 
ZHEL SUM CHAK DRUK JIK JÉ TRO MÖ ZHEL
With your three faces and six arms, you look terribly wrathful–
 

།ཞབས་གཉེས་བརྐྱང་བསྐུམ་མཛད་ལ་ཕྱག་འཚལ་ལོ།
ZHAP NYI KYANG KUM DZÉ LA CHAK TSEL LO
I pay homage to you, whose one leg is stretched and the other bend.

།རི་ཁྲོད་ལོ་མ་སྐུ་ལ་བསྣམས་པ་ཡི། 
RI TRÖ LO MA KU LA NAM PA YI
You, who wears a robe of leaves, hold bow and arrow,

།མདའ་གཞུ་དགྲ་སྟ་ཤིང་ལོའི་བམ་པོ་འཛིན། 
DA ZHU DRA TA SHING LÖ BAM PO DZIN
Battle ax, and a bunch of branches.
 

།སྡིགས་མཛུབ་རྡོ་རྗེ་བསྣམས་པའི་ཤ་ཝ་རི། 
DIK DZUP DOR JÉ NAM PÉ SHA WA RI
Parnashavari, you show the threatening mudra and hold a vajra–
 

།ཡུམ་ཆེན་འགྲོ་བའི་མགོན་ལ་ཕྱག་འཚལ་ལོ། ེ
YUM CHEN DRO WÉ GÖN LA CHAK TSEL LO
I pay homage to you, great mother, protectress of beings.
 

ཨོཾ་པི་ཤ་ཙི་པརྞ་ཤ་ཝ་རི་སརྦ་མ་རི་པྲ་ཤ་མ་ནི་ཧཱུྃ
OM PI SHA TSI PARNA SHA WA RI SARVA MA RI PRA SHA MA NI HUNG
 

།དགེ་བ་འདི་ཡིས་མྱུར་དུ་བདག 
GEWA DI YI NYURDU DAK
By this virtue, may I swiftly

།ལོ་མ་གྱོན་པ་འགྲུབ་གྱུར་ནས། 
LOMA GYONPA DRUP GYUR NÉ
Attain the realization of Parnashavari
 

།འགྲོ་བ་གཅིག་ཀྱང་མ་ལུས་པ།
DROWA CHIK KYANG MALÜPA
And every single being without exception
 

།དེ་ཡི་ས་ལ་འགོད་པར་ཤོག །
DE YI SA LA GÖPAR SHOK
Reach that state of perfection too.
